Attending Will Meetings Alone: Why This Is Advisable.

We understand that making a Will can be nerve-wracking, and you may feel apprehensive before your meeting. Many clients wish for a family member or friend to come with them, but this may not be advisable.

You do not need to be nervous; our team is friendly and experienced in helping clients navigate this process. We will explain everything in clear language and guide you every step of the way.

Meeting with you privately allows us to ensure your wishes are your own. It gives you a safe space to discuss your position freely. It also allows us to be satisfied that these decisions are made independently and without pressure from others. This is an important professional step for us to take, and it will help to limit the chances of your will being contested.

Of course, we understand that this is not always possible. If you have concerns about attending alone or require additional support, we would be happy to discuss this with you. We are proud to provide accessible services and can look at alternative meeting spaces on request, provide breaks during the meeting, or give further support to meet your needs.

If you would prefer to bring a family member, carer or friend, they can of course be a part of the meeting. We would simply ask to spend some time speaking with you privately, before taking your instructions.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss additional support, please contact our team. We are here to make the experience as comfortable and straightforward as possible.
